SBIR Grant Phase I. which corresponds to RUP Elaboration Phase. The Phase 1 funding award was $100,854, to be used only for salaries for time spent on FlowDx project tasks. Phase I Grant began August 1, 2008 and ended Sept. 30, 2009.

We learned that much more administrative time was required for the Elaboration phase of the project than we had expected. During Elaboration we also determined the need for IT support to build the database and repository and the need for Quality Control efforts.
